01Scope

This policy applies to the Signal Shift Android application published by ScriptNight. It describes the current release of the app and does not replace the separate ScriptNight website privacy policy, which explains data practices that may apply when you visit ScriptNight.com.

02Data collection and sharing

Signal Shift does not access, collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal or sensitive user data. The app does not contain advertising, active analytics, social tracking, account services, or a crash-reporting service.

Gameplay events such as moves, scores, completed levels, failures, power use, and module selections are not sent to ScriptNight or any analytics provider.

03Information stored on your device

Signal Shift stores the information needed to resume and personalize the game locally on your device. This can include campaign progress, scores, star ratings, completed levels, the active board, remaining moves or time, unlocked and installed modules, sound preferences, and gameplay history.

This information is stored in the app's private Android storage and is not transmitted to ScriptNight. Other apps normally cannot access it through standard Android app isolation.

If Android backup is enabled for your device, Android may include eligible Signal Shift data in a backup associated with your device or Google account. That backup is controlled by Android and your account settings, not by ScriptNight.

04Google Play purchase and distribution

If you obtain Signal Shift through Google Play, Google processes the purchase, download, licensing, and related store activity under Google's own terms and privacy practices. Signal Shift does not receive or store your payment-card number or Google account password.

Google Play may provide ScriptNight with aggregated store, installation, sales, or technical reporting through Play Console. This information is generated and controlled by Google Play rather than collected from within the Signal Shift app.

05Permissions and third-party services

The current Signal Shift app does not request Internet, location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo, advertising identifier, or account permissions. Sound effects are generated inside the app, and vibration or haptic feedback uses standard device capabilities without collecting sensor information.

The app does not currently include Firebase, an advertising SDK, or a third-party analytics SDK. If a future version changes these practices, ScriptNight will update this policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosure before that version is distributed.

06Retention, control, and deletion

Local game information remains on your device until it is replaced during normal play, removed through Android's Clear storage or Clear data control, or deleted when you uninstall the app. Restoring an Android backup may restore eligible game information.

Because Signal Shift does not maintain a server account or receive the app's local gameplay information, ScriptNight has no remote Signal Shift account or gameplay record to retrieve or delete.

You control local app information through Android's application settings and backup settings. Device security, operating-system protections, and physical access to the device also affect the security of locally stored information.

07Children's privacy

Signal Shift is not designed to request personal information from children. The app does not offer chat, public profiles, account creation, behavioral advertising, or user-generated content, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

A parent or guardian can remove all locally stored game information by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

08Policy changes and contact

ScriptNight may update this policy when Signal Shift's features, data practices, distribution, or legal obligations change. The current version will remain available at this URL with a revised effective date.

Privacy questions about Signal Shift may be sent to ScriptNight through the Open Channel on ScriptNight.com. Select OPEN CHANNEL on the site and identify Signal Shift in your message. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information.
